Ventilspiel wird konstruktionsbedingt kleiner. Das klickern, was du hörst, wird also mit Sicherheit nicht das Ventilspiel sein.
Eine Kontrolle ist dennoch sinnvoll, wenn die letzte Überprüfung schon länger her ist.
