Metallisches Klingeln

Ich habe heute unterwegs so ein metallisches Klingeln vom Motor her bemerkt. Egal ob Schub oder Lastbetrieb.
Das normale Ventilklackern ist es nicht.
Kann es sein, dass die Steuerkette zu locker sitzt und sich durch dieses Klingeln bemerkbar macht?
Was könnte das noch sein?
Momentaner km-Stand: 39500
Nicht, dass mir die GS in zwei Wochen auf der Tour verreckt.
