2001+ sitzbank auf 89-200 - gs-500.de

Hallo Leute,

I won't insult you with my german so i write this in englisch (hope thats ok).

My seat has been cut and beyond repair. I'm was wondering if an 2001+ seat would fit my 1993 model?

For example this one:

If that's not possible does anybody else have an solution? I.e. remove the foam and put gel into it and put new molding on it? Where can i get the molding?

I would repair the old seat. That's cheaper.
And the new seat (2001+) doesn't fit without modifications.

And do you know where to get a new holding/cover from? Because the current one is cut and can't be repaired.

where do you come from? a saddler could fix your problem. or even it's cheaper to buy an old "new" seat in this board.

A used "Sitzbank" is definitely cheaper than a new one and - of course - seats offered in this forum mostly are cheaper than bidding on ebay.
You may either ask for it in the "wanted" section or check all offered parts. Even if seats aren't offered, feel free to ask for it. Nobody will decapitate you for a simple question.
