Just wanted to say "Hi" to everyone. Joined last week, put a couple of photos in the Gallery, just trying to get my head round the language barrier at the moment. I apologise as I did to Verdi for my ignorance & lack of German (being from the UK).
Thanks to Verdi though for making me welcome. My partner & I run a similiar site to this in the UK, aimed primarily at the GS500E, though we're open to everyone, wherever they're from, whatever they ride.

I stumbled across GS-500.DE and thought... "Great site... where do I join up?!"

I also love the Gallery & what some of you guys have done to your bikes.

P.s. perhaps you should use a more simple english, because I have to use a dictionary for some complicated phrases. :oops:

Wenn du denn Pelz abmachst , ist der dann noch zu gebrauchen ? Oder ist der in Fetzen ?

is prinzipiell noch zu gebrauchen muss man nur halt exakt wieder so aufkleben :)

würd sich aber nicht lohnen das zu verkaufen .. kannst besser bei http://www.stoffhaus-kepper.de neues bestellen.

Dann hätte ich mir aber das zurechtschneiden gespart ! :lol:

das zurechtschneiden macht man ja erst nach dem aufkleben. und einfach 3 cm vom rand entfernt mit ner schere langschneiden kannst du doch wohl :-)

würd ich dir nicht raten ... bei falscher anbringung sind die dinger gefährlich ... weil sie dann evtl. blockieren ...

ausserdem gibt das kein tüv und fällt bei jeder kontrolle auf.

und die gs braucht absolut keinen lenkungsdämpfer selbst bergab mir 230 zuckt da nix

Also das mit den Lenkungsdämpfern kenn ich anders, mir ist es mal gelungen mit viel Rückenwind 180 zu schaffen, als das Lenkrad plötzlich anfing zu flackern!!!! in dre Situation hätte ich einiges für Lenkungsdämpfer gegeben!!!

ich kenne nur pendeln von der gs, aber da hilft der dämpfer auch nciht so viel

Meine pendelt nur, wenn der Luftdruck zu niedrig ist. 1/4 Bar reicht da schon aus.
